BOISE, ID — ProTeam''s 25th anniversary year kicked off with the Oldest Vac Contest to find the three longest-lasting vacuums out in the field, according to a press release.

ProTeam is pleased to announce the winners: Alison Fissette of Fissette Floor Sanding, Guy Robarge of FBG Service Corporation and David Hodge of Montgomery County Public Schools, the release stated.

According to the release, the winning vacuum from Fisette Floor Sanding has been in the field for 21 years, often attached to a floor sander for capturing fine dust on the jobsite; the other vacuums are 19 years old and 14 years old, respectively, and are still used almost daily.

"In the cleaning industry, when the lifespan of a heavily-used vacuum typically extends less than a year, the fact that these vacuums are still in daily use is a remarkable achievement worthy of commemorating," said Jacalyn High, ProTeam director of marketing.
